TRIBUNAL SERVICES
Specialist assessment and clear, evidence-based support for families navigating the Tribunal process
Tribunal proceedings can feel overwhelming, especially when you are already working so hard to secure the right support for your child. My role is to bring calm, clarity and strong professional insight to a process that can feel complex and emotionally demanding. I offer detailed, child-centred assessments and clear, evidence-based advice that can strengthen your case and ensure your child’s needs are fully understood.
Importantly, Tribunal work must be carried out alongside a specialist SEN lawyer, and I only accept Tribunal cases when a legal representative is involved. This ensures the process is managed correctly and that your child’s case is presented as robustly as possible.
What I can offer
I provide:
-
A thorough, holistic assessment tailored to the questions being considered by the Tribunal
-
Clear, detailed reporting that explains your child’s strengths, needs and the provision required
-
Professional advice grounded in nearly 30 years of experience across early years, mainstream and specialist settings
-
Close collaboration with your legal representative to ensure the assessment meets Tribunal expectations
-
Attendance at the hearing as an expert witness when required
How the process works
1. Preparation and initial discussion
Before we meet, you will complete a detailed parental questionnaire, and I will carefully review all previous assessments, reports and relevant documents. This preparation ensures I fully understand your child’s history and the issues being raised.
We then meet to discuss your concerns, the focus of the Tribunal, and what you hope the assessment will clarify. Your legal representative guides the overall process, and I work closely with them from the outset.
