ABOUT ME

BSc (Hons) PGCE MSc CPsychol

I am an experienced Educational Psychologist (EP), based in North London, with over 20 years of working in Local Authorities, including as a Senior EP for over 10 years. Throughout my career, I have worked with children and young people (aged 2 - 17 years old) who have a wide variety of needs, including specific learning difficulties, high ability, social and emotional needs, neurodevelopmental conditions and general learning difficulties.

Prior to meeting your child, I will spend time with you to explore your concerns, to gather a good understanding of your child’s life experiences and to clarify what your main hopes are for the assessment. Later, we will meet again to discuss the findings from the assessment and together, we will find a way forward that will help your child to make progress.

HOW AN EP ASSESSMENT CAN HELP YOUR CHILD

An EP assessment can help to identify your child’s strengths and needs; it can also highlight any particular challenges that your child might be experiencing, for example a specific learning difficulty. Your child will make better progress and often, feel more positive about learning when parents and school staff have a better shared understanding.
